1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.joyridedelray.com and any related booking pages, content, and functionality (the "Site"), operated by MB Meadows LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Joy Ride ("Joy Ride," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, including by making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site; a separate, higher age requirement applies to renting a vehicle (see Section 3).

2. The Joy Ride Network — Independently Owned and Operated Locations

Joy Ride is a network of golf cart rental locations, currently including Delray Beach, Rad Rizzi, Pineapple, Fort Lauderdale / Pompano Beach, Palm Beach, and Jacksonville, Florida; Dewey Beach / Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; Charleston, South Carolina; and Montauk, New York (each, a "Location").

The "Joy Ride" name, logo, and related brand elements are owned by Joy Ride LLC, the holding company for the Joy Ride network. Each Location is independently owned and operated by its own limited liability company (each, a "Location Operator"), operating under license from Joy Ride LLC to use the Joy Ride name and brand. The Site is operated by MB Meadows LLC, which is likewise licensed by Joy Ride LLC to use the Joy Ride name and which provides the online booking and payment platform used to make reservations at each Location on behalf of the applicable Location Operator.

When you make a reservation through the Site, you are entering into two separate relationships:

  • with MB Meadows LLC, governed by these Terms, covering your use of the Site and the booking and payment process; and

  • with the Location Operator for the Location you book, governed by a separate Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver that you will be asked to review and sign at the time of vehicle pickup (see Section 5).

These Terms do not modify, limit, or supersede the terms of any Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver regarding the rental or use of a vehicle, the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver controls.

3. Eligibility, Age & License Requirements

To reserve and rent a vehicle as the primary renter, you must:

  • be at least 25 years old;

  • hold a valid, unexpired driver's license; and

  • present that license and a valid form of payment at pickup.

Additional drivers listed on a rental must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license. Only individuals who are 25 or older may serve as the primary renter and signatory on a Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.

Some Locations may apply additional or location-specific eligibility requirements (for example, insurance, residency, or vehicle-specific rules). Please confirm requirements with your Location before booking — reservations that don't meet a Location's requirements may be declined or cancelled without a full refund.

4. Booking, Payment & Cancellations

Reservations made through the Site are processed and paid for online. By submitting a booking, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the reservation amount and any applicable fees.

A refundable security deposit is also collected or authorized on your payment method as part of the booking or pickup process. Except for the administrative fee described in Section 5, deductions from the security deposit (for example, for vehicle damage) are addressed in your Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.

Refunds and cancellations: booking refunds are free until seven days after booking; cancellations made seven or more days after booking incur a 3% charge. Where a refund is approved, we will notify you of the outcome after review, and approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to your original payment method (your bank may require additional time to post the funds). If more than 15 business days pass without resolution, please contact us using the information in Section 22.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, availability, or booking errors — including after a reservation is confirmed — and to cancel or modify a reservation affected by such an error, with notice to you.

5. Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver

Renting and operating a Joy Ride vehicle requires signing a separate Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver with the Location Operator at the time of pickup. That document — not these Terms — governs matters specific to vehicle use, including vehicle condition, operating rules, assumption of risk, release of liability, and responsibility for damage, injury, citations, or loss occurring during your rental.

Completing a booking on the Site does not by itself constitute an agreement to rent; the rental is not final until the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver is signed at pickup. We recommend reviewing your Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver before you arrive, and contacting your Location directly with questions about vehicle-specific terms.

To help pickups run on schedule, we offer an option to review and sign the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver online in advance of your visit. If it is not completed and signed online before your scheduled pickup time, you will be asked to complete and sign it in person at the Location, and a $50 administrative fee will be deducted from your refundable security deposit. This fee reflects the additional staff time and handling required to complete paperwork in person rather than in advance online, and is separate from any deposit deductions related to vehicle condition or damage.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and all content on it — including source code, databases, functionality, software, designs, text, photographs, and graphics (the "Content") — are owned or licensed by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The "Joy Ride" name, logo, and related trademarks and service marks on the Site (the "Marks") are owned by Joy Ride LLC and are used on the Site under license.

You are granted a limited, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use in booking a rental. Except as expressly permitted, no part of the Site or its Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, distributed, sold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

7. User Representations

By using the Site, you represent that: all registration and booking information you submit is true, accurate, current, and complete; you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms; you are not a minor in the jurisdiction where you reside; you will not access the Site through automated or non-human means; you will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose; and your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may suspend or terminate your access if any information you provide is found to be untrue, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • scrape or systematically collect data from the Site;

  • misrepresent yourself or provide false booking information;

  • circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Site;

  • harass, abuse, or harm another person or Joy Ride staff;

  • upload viruses, malware, or unsolicited advertising;

  • use the Site to compete with us, or to advertise or sell goods or services;

  • attempt to reverse engineer any part of the Site; or

  • otherwise use the Site in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. User Contributions & Reviews

If the Site allows you to submit reviews or other content, you represent that your contribution is accurate, based on firsthand experience, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or discriminatory material, and that you own or have permission to share it. We may accept, reject, edit, or remove any contribution at our discretion, and contributions do not necessarily reflect our views. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display contributions in connection with operating and promoting the Site.

10. Site Management; Term and Termination

We reserve the right to monitor the Site for violations of these Terms and to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for any user at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms. These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Site.

11. Modifications and Interruptions to the Site

We may change, update, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice, and we are not liable for any resulting loss. We do not guarantee the Site will be available at all times; it may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our control.

12. Disclaimer

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT ON THE SITE, AND WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ERRORS OR INTERRUPTIONS IN THE SITE'S AVAILABILITY.

This disclaimer relates to the Site itself. Disclaimers and assumptions of risk relating to the operation of a rented vehicle are addressed in the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver referenced in Section 5.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MB MEADOWS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE RELATING TO THE SITE WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US THROUGH THE SITE AND $500 USD.

This limitation applies to claims relating to the Site and the booking process. It does not apply to, and does not limit, the liability terms set out in a Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver, which is a separate document. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MB Meadows LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms. This section does not address indemnification obligations relating to vehicle rental and use, which are addressed in your Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.

15. User Data

We maintain certain data you transmit to the Site to help manage its performance. Although we perform routine backups, you are solely responsible for any data you transmit, and we are not liable for any loss or corruption of such data.

16. Electronic Communications, Transactions & Signatures

By using the Site, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including booking confirmations, receipts, and policy notices. You agree that electronic communications, agreements, and records satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, as the Site is operated by a Florida-based company. This governing-law provision applies to disputes about the Site and the booking process only; it does not govern rental-specific disputes if a Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver specifies a different governing law for that Location.

18. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any claim relating to the Site will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in Palm Beach County, Florida — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for claims related to intellectual property or unauthorized access. There is no right to participate in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

19. California Users and Residents

If you are a California resident with an unresolved complaint, you may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Information Center, at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.

20. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with any Location's Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time. Nothing in these Terms creates a joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and us, or between MB Meadows LLC and any Location Operator.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
